Visa Information
Most international tourists visiting Bali, including Indians, can obtain a 30-day Visa on Arrival (VoA) (code B1) for tourism, which is extendable once for another 30 days, can be obtained at the airport or online (e-VoA) beforehand, and requires a passport valid for at least six months.
Health and Safety Tips
Bali is generally a safe, tropical destination, but requires precautions for high humidity, scooter safety, and food/water safety (“Bali Belly”).Key health measures include drinking only bottled/filtered water and using mosquito repellent. Safety involves using reputable transport, wearing helmets, and avoiding scams or dangerous currents
Currency and Tipping
Dubai uses the Emirati Dirham (AED), commonly abbreviated as Dhs or AED, which is pegged to the USD. Indian tourists should exchange currency in Dubai for better rates, though card payments are widely accepted. Tipping is not mandatory but appreciated, typically 10-15% in restaurants, or 5-10 AED for services like valets or porters.
